Darn it!

You know how I've been waiting for that fabulous brown UPS truck to come bringing my box? Well it didn't come today either so I checked the tracking number and it said it's been delivered! It sure didn't come here. It said it was delivered in Franklin NC. That's an hour away! I'm not sure how that mistake could have been made, but obviously UPS found a way. Go big brown! lol. I've contacted UPS and also Kohl's but it will probably be tomorrow before I hear back from either one of them since I discovered this little oopsie so late. I really hope I get my box. I'm sure they'll offer me a refund but I've been dying to put those clothes on the girls and I'd rather have them. We'll see what happens.

The girls have been pretty good today. We all slept in (well with the exception of the man of the house.. he's always up and at em to go to work for us. God bless him) until almost 11 am! I guess that's what happens when we're just leaving the grocery store at 12:30 am. I told you we would get a late start! lol. I didn't expect it to be that late... but it was. We did a lot of shopping. We got a lot of groceries, Jesse some shorts and rubber boots for when he has to work in the mudslides at somebody's house on a rainy day, and I gave in and bought Ariel (and Clarity too.. of course it's "theirs") a Treasury of Animals and Nature book. It's really interesting and has tons of cute info. Even though it was nearly 1 am by the time we got in bed and settled down, we still read Ariel the pages about the dinosaurs. Then her and I snuggled up and watched part of Jurassic Park 3 before we crashed out.

I didn't feel like getting anything done today! I mean I kept the girls fed and played with them but as far as housework. Barely! I still have dishes in the sink, laundry to do, floors to sweep and floormate (and this needs to be done desperately). The whole house looks like a disaster zone! I'd never let anyone over. lol. Hopefully this extreme tiredness will ease up and I'll find some motivation (I have the mental motivation.. the house is in need of serious cleaning. I mean it's not so bad social services would take the kids or anything but it's bad for me). I need the physical motivation. An energy rush of some sort. Oh wouldn't it be nice!

Well the girls have had their bath and are playing together. I'm so glad we've had a great day as far as them getting along. They are really good about being friends and I'm so grateful for that. Ariel sometimes gets annoyed with her baby sister always wanting to do what she's doing, but for the most part, they would be lost with each other. I pray they continue to grow closer with each year and they are best friends for life. I would love to see that in my girls.
